Mangaluru: A young man named Akshay Kallega, a member of the Kallega tiger dance group, was murdered in Puttur after a fight over a trivial issue. 

The men who attacked Akshay called him to Nehru Nagar late at night to discuss the matter, but instead they killed him with lethal weapons. 

Akshay's body was found in a paddy field near the road leading to Vivekananda College. 

Two of the suspects, Manish and Chethu, surrendered to the police, and the third suspect, Manjunath alias Manja, was arrested later.
