Mangaluru (DHNS): The Moodbidri police arrested a 19-year-old home nurse facing charges of sexually harassing a 68-year-old male patient on Saturday.

The arrested youth was identified as Shivananda V from Gadag.

The police sources said family members, on noticing a few injury marks on the patient, secretly installed a mobile camera on March 28.

A complaint was filed based on the recording. Shivananda was remanded to judicial custody.

A case was registered under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 377 (Unnatural offences) and 506 (Criminal intimidation) at the police station.
