Mangaluru: A 21-year-old medical student died after accidentally falling from the fifth floor of an apartment in Mangaluru on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Samay Shetty, a student of A J Institute of Medical Sciences. He was leaning over the balcony when he slipped and fell to his death.

Forensic team and police personnel from Kadri East Police Station visited spot and investigations are currently underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the accidental fall.
