Mangaluru: Burglars Make Off with ₹30 Lakh Worth of jewellery

Mangaluru: In a daring heist, burglars targeted a residence in Sankaigudda on Bijay New Road, Mangaluru, making away with valuables estimated at ₹30 lakh. The incident unfolded between 11:30 pm on November 24 and 6 am on November 25, when the perpetrators successfully breached the security of the house.

The thieves gained access by cutting through the grills of the bedroom window, according to the details provided in the complaint. The victims reported the theft of a substantial collection of gold items stored in the bedroom cupboard. 

Among the stolen items are an earring weighing approximately 16 grams, four gold necklaces with a total weight of 144 grams, a gold chain weighing 40 grams, a gold necklace weighing 48 grams, a coral chain weighing 24 grams, a 40-gram gold chain, and a gold necklace weighing 36 grams.
