Karwar: The state government is ready to take steps for increasing revenue of Karwar port. For this, various develpmont work would be launched soon, said public works, port and inland water transport minister H C Mahadevappa.
He was speaking to media persons during his visit to port in Karwar on wednesday. He said, construction work of 820 mtr long retaining wall would be started soon at a cost of Rs 125 crore. Godown construction and desilatation work in the port area would be taken up. Measures would be initiate DTI Check erosion in sea shore. Later, he collected informaton from the official concerned.
