Bhatkal: The inauguration of an Eco friendly garden "Namma coastal plantation nursery" took place in Bhatkal on Friday. This gardening centre is situated on the national highway opposite Kokaris Honda show room. 

Bhatkal ACF Nandish Reddy and CPI Suresh Nayak were present as chief guests who cut the ribbon.

Munir Ahmed MH, one of the owner of the nursery welcomed the guests and proceeded to give an introduction of the nursery. He also raised awareness among the people about their unique ideas. Their aim is to provide different stuffs made of new techniques, guide people towards the base of vegetables and fruits. They not only just decorate the galleries but also plant and take care of the trees in the garden, provide different types of flowers, flower vases and coconut tress.

Bhatkal Qazi Maulana Mohammed Iqbal Mulla Nadvi presided over the function. While addressing the guests he said," Along with a clean city, let's make Bhatkal a green city as well". Tanzeem general secretary Altaf Kharuri, Jamatul Muslimeen ex president Abdul Rehman Mohtesham Jan, Secretary of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal, S P Shafi were also present. 

Another owner of the nursery Dr. Noorulameen Musba proposed a vote of thanks.
