Karwar: Muslim Forum organised awareness program on 'Muslim personal law'

Karwar: In a rising issue of law panel's move on Uniform Civil code, North Kanara Muslim United Forum organised an awareness program on 'Muslim personal laws' at Umar Shaikh memorial hall in Unity high school at Karwar on 12th November, Saturday. 

The program began with the recitation of versus from the Holy Quran by Adil Shah, while forum's general secretary Muhammad Mohsin Quazi addressed the welcome speech and vote of thanks was delivered by Ali Janab.

Present as the chief guest in the program, Member of All India Muslim personal law board, Maulana Ilyaz Jakti Nadvi addressed the audience by building an awareness among them regarding Muslim personal laws and also urged the ummah to stay unitedly and focus on following upon the shariah to the full extent.

Further, speaking to the audience, Maulana Shakeel Ahmed Nadvi, said that every individual Muslim should be aware of following the Islamic shariah and also stressed that we should also be concerned about creating awareness in the Muslim womens regarding Muslim personal laws.

Maulana Mushtak Ahmed from Belgaum, addressed the meet saying that this is one of the best time for the ummah to get united. He focused upon saying that the ummat should come out of all the types of sects and protect the Islamic shariah unitedly.

Maulana Muhammad Hussain Gaima also addressed his views on the awareness on 'Muslim personal laws' on the occasion.

Mr. Haneef Saheb, president of Karwar unit NKMUF held the presidency of the meet, while Syed Hasan Syed Ali was the convenor of the program.
