Mangaluru: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a Scorpio on the Mani-Mysore National Highway on Tuesday night. 

The deceased has been identified as Annappa (40), a laborer from Hubli-Dharwad. 

The driver of the Scorpio, Anil from Kasaragod Bandyadka, has been arrested. 

This is the second fatal accident on the highway in recent days.
