Bhatkal: A fishing boat capsized in the Arabian Sea near the Mavinkurwe port area due to strong winds, but all fishermen onboard were safely rescued.

The boat involved in the incident belonged to Mahadev Kharvi. At 4 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, four fishermen set out on this boat for fishing. However, the boat overturned amidst heavy rains and winds. Fortunately, another nearby fishing boat came to their rescue, saving the four fishermen from the sinking vessel. The incident resulted in significant financial losses due to the boat's sinking.

Meanwhile, the Department of Environment has forecasted heavy rainfall in the coastal region for the next three days.
