Udupi: A bank employee from Bengaluru, Nitin (35), who was on a trip with his friends, was washed away by sea water and went missing at Delta Beach in Kodibengar on Saturday.

Nitin had come to Udupi with two friends on January 26 for vacation and visited Delta Beach. While playing in the sea water, he was swept away by the waves and has not been found despite search efforts by the police.

A case has been registered at Malpe police station.
