Bhatkal: Session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) held at AIMCA

Bhatkal: A session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) was organized at the Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application (AIMCA), Bhatkal on Saturday by Professor Mohammed Sinan. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) in Mangaluru.

The session covered various subfields of AI, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotics. Prof. Sinan underscored the crucial role of machine learning in revolutionizing computer capabilities, enabling them to learn from data and enhance performance without explicit programming. He highlighted the transformative impact of deep learning algorithms on the growth of artificial intelligence, facilitating the processing of vast datasets and accurate predictions.

Emphasizing the significance of natural language processing, Prof. Sinan pointed out its pivotal role in enabling machines to comprehend and interpret human language, finding applications in virtual assistants, language translation, and sentiment analysis. Additionally, he delved into the importance of computer vision in analyzing visual data such as images and videos, showcasing its applications in various fields such as healthcare, autonomous vehicles, and surveillance systems.

The session began with the recitation of the Quran by Miss Liqua, followed by the translation by Miss Samreen Kazia, and a Naat by Miss Uzma. Principal Mr. Mohammed Mohsin K welcomed the attendees, and Prof. Hasan delivered the vote of thanks. Vice Principal Mr. Talooth Muallim and other faculty members were present during the event. The  program was hosted by Mr. Mohammed Usaid.
