Bhatkal: Darshan Mahabaleshwar Naik, a student of Bhatkal Anandashram PU College, secured the first prize in the state-level poster-making competition organized as part of the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative. He emerged as the winner in the PUC level poster-making contest.

Darshan was honored by the Governor of Karnataka, Thawar Chand Gehlot, at Bangalore Town Hall for his outstanding achievement. The award ceremony was a part of the 14th National Voter's Day celebrations.
