Mangaluru: Minister Eshwar Khandre criticized the BJP-led Central government, alleging that not a single rupee from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) has been released to Karnataka.

Addressing reporters in Mangaluru, Minister Khandre accused the Union Government of unfair practices, asserting that Karnataka has been denied rightful funds. He declared his intention to participate in a protest in New Delhi to condemn what he described as fiscal injustice.

Despite a team from the Union government visiting and submitting a report four months ago, Minister Khandre claimed that Karnataka has not received any relief. He criticized the state government for not ensuring justice to Kalyana Karnataka, despite a previously provided special package of Rs 3000 crore.

The Minister contended that southern states are already facing discrimination from the Union Government and issued a warning, stating that the Centre should halt this injustice or be held responsible.

Minister Khandre expressed confidence in the Congress party's performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, predicting a victory in 20 to 22 out of 28 seats. He assured that the party would provide a stable government, highlighting the implementation of guarantees and the support received from the people in the assembly polls.
