Siddapur: A vehicle struck and killed a male deer near Siddapur town on Tuesday night, resulting in the death of a five-year-old deer.

The incident occurred near Jeevandhar on the PWD Road that links Chandragutti and Siddapur. 

Authorities have registered a case under the Wildlife Protection Act in connection.
