Udupi: Burglars broke into a house and stole thousands of rupees in Kaup of Udupi. The incident of theft occurred on January 28 in the morning.

It is alleged that the burglars entered the residence of Ibrahim Muhammad in Kapu by breaking the lock of the back door and made off with gold and a watch from the cupboard, totaling Rs 97,000 in value.

A case has been registered at the Kapu police station.
