Kundapur: In an operation led by food inspectors on the afternoon of December 28 in Kharvikeri, a person was arrsted for the illicit transportation of Annabhagya rice using a goods rickshaw.

The arrested individual is Krishna (43) from Kundapur.

Kundapur Food Inspector, Suresha H.S., stated that Kundapur ESI Vinay Korlahalli and his team intercepted the rickshaw transporting rice illegally and conducted a thorough check. Subsequently, 200 kg of rice was confiscated along with the vehicle.
