LPG Blast Claims Lives of Two Udupi Residents in Belagavi

Belagavi: Two persons from Udupi met a tragic end due to an LPG cylinder explosion in Belagavi, claiming their lives and injuring three others severely.

The explosion occurred within an apartment situated in the Basavanagalli locality of the city, resulting in the fatalities.

The victims have been identified as 80-year-old Kamakshi Bhat and 27-year-old Hemanth Bhat, both natives of Udupi district.

Three other occupants of the flat suffered severe injuries, with two of them in critical condition and undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Authorities from the Khadebazar police station have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine its cause.
