Mangaluru: A tragic incident occurred near the BC Road Circle on Friday, resulting in the loss of a young pillion rider's life. 

The deceased has been identified as Rameez (20), a resident of Bengre.

The fatal accident took place around 11 pm when the motorcycle Rameez was on skidded while attempting to overtake another vehicle. 

Unfortunately, he fell onto the road, and a passing lorry ran over him, causing his untimely death. 

The lorry quickly fled the scene, but the police were able to trace it later.
