Mangaluru: A fatal incident unfolded off Mogaveerapatna shores in Mangaluru as a fishing boat collided with a rock during a fishing expedition. 

The victim, 60-year-old Michael from Kerala, who was operating the boat's engine, suffered fatal injuries as his head struck a wooden log, resulting in his tragic demise. 

The mishap occurred when strong winds caused the boat's ropes to snap, leading to the collision. 

Ullal Police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
