Mangaluru: A young man from Uttar Pradesh, identified as Alam, met with a accident near Mukka checkpost in Mangaluru on Thursday. 

The incident occurred when Alam accidentally tripped and fell while walking along the National Highway. 

An unidentified vehicle struck him, resulting in severe injuries. Despite the swift response of nearby hotel staff, who promptly transported Alam to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
