Mangaluru: PSI Umesh Kumar and his police team successfully arrested Eerappa from Madapura in Somwarpet, Kodagu district. 

Eerappa had been evading law enforcement for the past 29 years and was booked under Sections 471, 465, and 468 of the IPC.

A case was filed against Eerappa at Kadri police station in 1992, and he was recently brought before the court for legal proceedings.
