Bhatkal: Uttara Kannada district In-Charge Minister Mankal Vaidya criticized the BJP, alleging that the party engages in rioting in every election. He accused the BJP of being prepared to go to any lengths for electoral success and pointed out three agendas – lying, inciting riots, and engaging in politics by deceiving inmankal-vaidya-media-1 the name of God.

Speaking to the media in Karwar, Vaidya expressed skepticism about the BJP's devotion to Lord Ram, stating that if they were true devotees, they would not engage in such activities. As a devotee of Shri Ram himself, he mentioned having built a Ram Mandir in Bhatkal. He emphasized that Sri Ram is an idol for all Hindus, not just the BJP.

Addressing recent events, Vaidya questioned the BJP's distribution of spells without formally inaugurating the Ram Mandir. He criticized the display of photos of Modi and Yogi on cutouts, asking why such publicity was necessary.

Vaidya asserted that the BJP's devotion is insincere, calling it a drama that should be stopped. He contended that true devotees do not resort to violence, contrasting it with the alleged practices of the BJP in election campaigns.
