Kundapur: Seven people were arrested by Gangolli police for participating in illicit gambling on the night of December 30 at Aluru Bangle, Gangolli.

The arrested are Mohana, Annappa, Sanjeeva, Mallappa, Sharannappa, Ratnakara, and Shamanappa. 

However, Mantesha, Ravi, Gunda, and Manju Kappatti managed to escape. 

A sum of 3,100 was utilized during the gambling activity, and the cash has been seized.

A case has been filed at Gangolli Police Station.
