Manipal: Authorities in Manipal have successfully dismantled a prostitution ring operating within a private residence, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the rescue of two women on February 1st.

The detainees have been identified as Pavan A M (25) and Chethan (32), both residents of Mandya District, along with Panju (35) from Paduvari, Byndoor. Another individual, Praveen Bengaluru, managed to evade capture during the raid.

Acting on credible intelligence, CPI TV Devaraj, leading a dedicated team, conducted a raid on a private dwelling in Herga near Manipal, resulting in the apprehension of the three suspects implicated in the prostitution operation.

The arrested individuals were reportedly operating under the directives of a figure identified as Praveen Bengaluru.

A case has been filed at the Manipal police station.
