Bhatkal: The Swachhata Hi Seva campaign was observed in Bhatkal on Sunday. The Bhatkal Municipality organized a cleaning drive at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Park on Bunder Road, while the Jali Pattan Panchayat coordinated the cleaning efforts at Jali Beach.

 Dr. Nayina, the Sub-Divisional Assistant Commissioner of Bhatkal, oversaw the program at the park, while Bhatkal Tahsildar Thippeswamy led the cleaning drive at Jali Beach.

The cleaning campaign at the park saw active participation from Municipal Chief Officer Neelkanth Mesta, Health Officer Sujiya Suman, JCI members Abdul Jabbar, Shaheen Sheikh, Suresh Pujari, as well as Urban Bank Vice President M.R. Naik, alongside other municipal members and the public.

At Jali Beach, Chief Officer of Jali Pattan Panchayat, Manjappa, along with members Syed Muneer and various staff and local residents, took part in the cleaning drive.
