Udupi: A mother committed suicide out of concern for her sick son at Gudikeri in Gangolli on on Friday. 

The deceased has been identified as Saku (36), a resident of Gudikeri. Her son, Suchin, has been suffering from a kidney problem for the last three years, and due to this worry, Saku committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of the kitchen. 

A case has been registered in this regard at Gangolli Police Station.
