Udupi: Senior Citizen Loses Rs 61 Lakh in Online Fraud

Udupi: B. Chandrasekhara Heggodlu (70) fell victim to an online fraud, losing Rs 61,90,000 while attempting to trade for higher profits through a link sent by an unknown person.

Chandrasekhar received a message on WhatsApp from an unidentified individual who provided a link for trading. 

After downloading the associated app as instructed, Chandrasekhar transferred the sum of Rs. 61.90 lakh through various bank accounts as directed by the fraudster. 

Unfortunately, the promised dividends were not delivered, prompting Chandrasekhar to file a case with the Sen Crime Police Station against the alleged perpetrator.
