Karwar: Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner, Gangubai Maankar, announced that the issue of forest land in Banavasi and other locations within the district will be resolved within the next month. She made this announcement during the Janata Darshan program held in Banavasi, Sirsi.

Maankar stated that a report has been forwarded to the government to address this critical concern related to the revenue area, and a suitable solution is expected within the coming month. Following a joint assessment of the matter by officials from the Revenue Department and the Forest Department, land rights will be granted to individuals residing on forest land and to farmers.
