Mangaluru: The final voter list for the South West Teachers and Graduates constituency in Dakshina Kannada district reveals 16,869 and 6,753 voters, respectively.

Additional DC Santhosh Kumar distributed the list at the DC's office in the presence of political leaders. 

Women voters outnumber men in both constituencies, with the graduates having 7,075 male and 9,793 female voters, and the teachers having 4,520 women voters. After the draft list, 2,417 claims were received, and 2,318 were accepted. 

In the teachers constituency, 1,420 claims were received, and 1,259 were accepted. The revision of the voter list will continue, according to DC Mullai Muhilan. Eligibility criteria for registration in the electoral rolls were specified for graduates and teachers. 

The term for MLCs from both constituencies concludes on June 21, 2024.
