Mangaluru:  A man fell victim to an online job fraud, losing a staggering amount of Rs 22.11 lakh. The unfortunate incident prompted him to file a complaint at the Kavoor police station.  

According to the complainant, he came into contact with an individual named Vinay Kumar, also known as Vinay Devraj, through a social media platform. Vinay enticed him with the promise of a job in the HR department of a company and requested multiple bank transfers from the victim between February 20 and April 4.  

As a result, the victim gradually lost a total of Rs 22,11,477, as confirmed by police sources.
