Bhatkal: In the field of education, Bhatkal has made significant progress. LKG, Primary, High School, Degree Colleges, and even an Engineering College have been established. However, there is a shortage of a Medical College, which should be established here. I request the people of Bhatkal to come forward and support the establishment of a medical college. I am prepared to offer all possible support from my side and from the government, said Mankal Vaidya, Bhatkal MLA and State Cabinet Minister.
Speaking at the felicitation program organized by the socio-political organization, Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem, Mr. Mankal Vaidya, Minister for Fisheries, Ports, and Inland Transport, expressed his gratitude to the voters, stating that their support led to him receiving over one lakh votes, an unprecedented achievement in the entire Uttara Kannada district. He acknowledged that it was due to this overwhelming support that he was given the opportunity to serve in the state cabinet. Vaidya assured the audience that he is deeply grateful and committed to addressing any concerns or issues they may have to the best of his ability.
He thanked everyone and highlighted that people of all religions, castes, and classes peacefully coexist in Bhatkal, without any discrimination. He hoped that people of all religions would continue to live peacefully and unitedly, maintaining an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood.
Mankal Vaidya was honored with a shawl and garlands by Tanzeem, along with the Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation. Several Muslim Jamaats from surrounding areas, including Murdeshwar, Manki, Tenggundi, Shirali, and Shrawati belts, also presented garlands to Mankal Vaidya, congratulating him on becoming a minister.
Abdul Raqib MJ Nadvi, the General Secretary of Majlis Islah wa Tazneem, delivered the inaugural speech. Advocate Imran Lanka, the convener of the political panel of Tanzeem, explained the purpose of the program. Sanaullah Gawai, an executive member of Tanzeem, read the felicitation notes presented to Mankal Vaidya. Inayatullah Shahbandri, the president of Tanzeem, presided over the program. Azeezur Rehman Ruknuddin Nadvi, the President of Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation, hosted the event. The stage was graced by Tazneem executive members Iqbal Suhail, Muallim Mohammed Hussain Kallagar, Jilani Shabandri, Mohammed Sadiq Pillur, along with representatives from many other Jamaats.
