Sirsi: One person has died, and 5 others sustained injuries in a tragic car-autorickshaw collision in Sirsi taluk. 

The incident occurred near Kallakai on Siddapur Road when an auto rickshaw bound for Sirsi collided head-on with a car traveling in the opposite direction.

Vishalakshi (55), a member of the affected family from Nilekani, succumbed to her critical injuries while en route to a hospital in Hubballi.

The remaining injured are Ashok Shirali (52), Trisha Shirali (9), Anita Shirali (40), Adarsh Shirali (18), and Aparanjit (45).

Sirsi Rural Police have registered a case.
