Bhatkal: A lorry carrying Extra Neutral Ethanol overturned in Basti after the driver lost control early Sunday morning.

The accident occurred while the lorry was traveling from Honnavar to Mangaluru. The driver and cleaner sustained minor injuries in the incident. As the vehicle was loaded with chemicals, the fire and emergency services were immediately informed.

Upon arrival, the fire brigade personnel took precautionary measures and sprayed foam to prevent any hazards.

Present at the scene were Acting Fire Station Officer Mohan Shetty and personnel Gajanana Devadiga, Sudhakar Devadiga, Shivaprasad Naik, and Narayan Patagar.
