Karwar The Uttara Kannada Zilla Panchayat has recognized Leela B. Agair, Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) of Hattikeri Gram Panchayat in Ankola taluk, as the "Best PDO of the Month" for January. She was honored with a certificate by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zilla Panchayat, Ishwar Kandoo, at a felicitation event held at the Zilla Panchayat office on Monday.

Expressing her gratitude, Leela Agair stated that implementing government schemes at the Gram Panchayat level comes with several challenges. She appreciated the recognition of her efforts and dedication at the district level and vowed to continue serving the public with the same commitment. She also thanked all district and taluk-level officials and Gram Panchayat staff for their guidance and support.

The event was attended by Nagesh Raikar, Deputy Secretary of the Administration Department of the Zilla Panchayat; Karim Asadi, Project Director; Prakash Halammanavar, Deputy Secretary of the Development Department; Chief Planning Officer Somasekhar Mesta; Accountant Parashuram, and others.
