Chikkodi (Belagavi District): Two young boys drowned in a well after taking a dip to wash off Holi colors in Yaksamba town on Wednesday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Vedant Hirekodi (11) and Manoj Kalyani (9). After celebrating Rang Panchami with colors, they entered the well for a bath but tragically drowned.

Their bodies have been retrieved, and the incident has left parents and locals in deep grief. Sadalga police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
