Udupi:  In a concerted effort to curb the illegal use of ganja, Manipal police have arrested three youths and charged them with ganja consumption. 

The accused have been identified as Shreyas, 20, Tharun, 20, and Saleem, 21, all residents of Manipal.

Acting on a tip-off, police officials apprehended the three suspects on Monday. Upon conducting medical examinations, it was confirmed that all three had consumed ganja. Based on the medical reports, separate cases have been registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
