Karwar: Additional Deputy Commissioner Sajid Ahmed Mulla has directed officials to ensure that the re-examination for Gazetted Probationary Group A and B posts conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) on December 29, 2024, is free from any irregularities or lapses.

Chairing a preparatory meeting at the Deputy Commissioner's office on Thursday, Sajid Mulla emphasized the importance of conducting the exams in a transparent and well-organized manner across the four examination centers in the district, where a total of 1,470 candidates are expected to appear.

He instructed the installation of CCTV cameras and jammers at all exam centers to ensure their proper functioning and directed the provision of necessary basic facilities at the centers. Additionally, he stressed the importance of uninterrupted power supply on the exam day and smooth bus services to facilitate candidates' commute.

Sajid Mulla also mandated adequate police security for the transport of question papers and answer sheets to the exam centers at the scheduled time. He urged all officials assigned to exam duties to perform their responsibilities with dedication and maintain the confidentiality and sanctity of the examination process.

The meeting was attended by Umesh, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Welfare; Latha Nayak, Deputy Director of Public Instruction; Dr. Neeraj, District Health and Family Welfare Officer; Ramesh Hoogar, Police Sub-Inspector of the City Police Station; Education Officer Nagaraj Gowda, and other exam center heads and supervisory officers.

Launch of Yuva Nidhi Campaign's Second Phase
During the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sajid Ahmed Mulla also released promotional banners and posters for the second phase of the Yuva Nidhi campaign, an initiative by the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood aimed at securing a bright future for the youth.
