Udupi: The police investigating the murder of four individuals in a family in Udupi, Karnataka, have revealed that the Praveen Chougale used the Snapchat location of one of the victims, an air hostess named Ainaz, to locate her residence.

During the investigation on Wednesday, it was disclosed that although Praveen Chougale was acquainted with Ainaz, he was not familiar with her home address.

"The accused initially found the victims' residence through Ainaz's Snapchat location, which she had shared while updating photos on her account," stated the investigating officer.

Praveen Chougale is accused of murdering Haseena (46) and her three children: Ainaz (21), Afnan (23), and Aseem (12) in Nejar, Udupi, on November 4.

Praveen Chougale was brought before the principal civil and JMFC court in Udupi, where he was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days until December 5 and subsequently transferred to Hiriadka sub-jail.
