CISF personnel showcase spectacular stunt display in Karwar as part of Cyclothon-2025

Karwar: As part of Cyclothon-2025, an event organized by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), a thrilling stunt display was held at the Police Parade Ground in Karwar on Tuesday. The event, which aimed to highlight the capabilities of CISF personnel, featured a series of daring performances that captivated the audience.

The Cyclothon, which commenced as part of CISF initiatives, arrived in Karwar on Monday evening. The following morning, the event began with a flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by an awe-inspiring demonstration by CISF commandos showcasing their operational skills, combat tactics, and use of advanced weaponry.

During the demonstration, Black Commando personnel exhibited their expertise in handling various firearms and executed high-risk tactical maneuvers. The display also featured fire-ring jumps, live-action combat simulations, and rescue operations, leaving spectators in awe.

In addition to the stunt performances, a canine squad demonstration was held to showcase the role of trained dogs in detecting narcotics and explosives. A mock firefighting drill was also conducted to demonstrate emergency response techniques in disaster situations.

To add a cultural touch, local Halakki tribal artists performed folk dances, while a Yakshagana troupe presented a traditional act, enriching the event’s atmosphere.

At the conclusion of the event, participants of Cyclothon-2025 were given a ceremonial send-off, accompanied by the Police Band, as they proceeded to their next destination.

The event was attended by Karnataka State Marketing Consultant & Agencies Chairman and Karwar MLA Satish K. Sail, Deputy Commissioner Lakshmi Priya, Superintendent of Police Narayan M., CISF Senior Commandant of Kaiga Unit Ajay Kumar Jha, Assistant Commandant S.P. Pathak, Deputy Conservator of Forests Ravishankar, and other officials, along with a large number of spectators.
