Bhatkal: Muhammed Faizan from Bhatkal has done his hometown proud by securing the first rank in M-Tech in Vishvesvaria Technological University Belgavi, bagging a gold medal and certificates.

He was awarded the medal by Karnataka governor Viju bhai wala during convocation of VTU's, held in Belgavi on Saturday.

Muhammad Faizan, a resident of Azad Nagar in Bhatkal, completed his B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) in Anjuman institute of technology and management in Bhatkal and further continued his master education (M.Tech) in Nagarjuna college of Engineering and Technology in Bangalore.

It is said that this boy came from a meager family background and his mother Mumtaz Begum's hard work achieved her son to reach great heights of success.

Management of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen and executives of Bhatkal social's organisation Majlise Islah wo Tanzeem Bhatkal congratulated him for his great success.
