Jaipur: In a rally in Rajasthan, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the BJP-led government at the center, claiming that its policies primarily benefit the rich. She accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of striking deals for industrialist friends during foreign trips. Gandhi stressed that the BJP prioritizes staying in power over the needs of the poor and middle class.

Gandhi also mentioned the recent waterlogging incident at the G20 Summit venue in Delhi, suggesting that it symbolizes the need for leaders to prioritize people over ego. She criticized rising fuel prices, inflation, and reduced rights, including pension cuts and decreased Army recruitment opportunities under the Modi government.

She praised the Rajasthan government's programs and urged people to choose a government that works for their interests rather than one that relies on caste and religious appeals. Sachin Pilot and other Congress leaders echoed these sentiments, expressing confidence in the party's prospects in the upcoming elections.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot accused the BJP of targeting the Gandhi family and voiced concerns about the state of democracy and the judiciary in the country. He highlighted the achievements of the Rajasthan government and its plans for economic growth.

Lastly, Congress leaders emphasized their fearlessness in the face of government agencies and expressed optimism about winning elections, both in Rajasthan and at the national level. The launch of the Indira Gandhi Rasoi (Rural) scheme was also announced during the event.
