Karwar: BJP leader Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri said the state BJP unit supports B S Yeddyurappa and even the central leadership wants to make him the face of the party in the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka.

Hegde told reporters in Sirsi on Friday that all leaders of the party have agreed to make Yeddyurappa as the next CM candidate and everyone is supporting him.

When asked about some leaders writing to the central leadership against Yeddyurappa, Hegde said  the party will resolve the issue by holding a discussion. We will act as per the direction of the leadership, he added.
