Karwar: An AC coach of Bikaner Express caught fire due to technical problem on Konkan Railway route near Karwar on sunday morning. The Fire birgade doused the fire. No passengers were hurt. Karwar railway station officials said the train was proceeding to Bikaner, Rajasthan, from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Due to technical problem in the gnerator of an AC coach, the coach caught fire  before reaching Karwar. Staff of the train informed Karwar station officials and fire brigade was called. "When the trian arrived at the Karwar railway station around 7:30 am, fire brigade doused the fire and no passengers hurt in the incident. The train left the coach in Karwar railway sation itself and took its further journey after 45 minutes," said officials.
