Karwar: The Government has issued an order transferring two KAS (Karnataka Administrative Services) officers in the Uttar Kannada district.

Stella Varghese, the Project Director of the Urban Development cell in Uttara Kannada, has been transferred to the position of Assstant Commissioner (AC) in Puttur sub-division. She had taken charge as the Project Director in 2022.

Similarly, Dr. Nayana M., the Assstant Commissioner (AC) of Bhatkal sub-duvision, has been transferred to the position of Deputy General Manager at the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) in Bengaluru.

No replacements have been appointed for the positions vacated by these transfers.
